Yes. If you have ancillary or extras cover with your private health fund, you should be able to claim a portion of your consultation through private health for either your Osteopathic treatment or remedial massage consultation. We have HICAPS facilities for on the spot claiming, so you need only pay the gap.

At enta, your initial osteopathic consultation is 45 minutes, ensuring a comprehensive case history, examination, and treatment. Return consultations last up to 30 minutes. For remedial and relaxation massage therapy, we recommend a 1-hour consultation for both initial and follow-up appointments.

We understand that life gets busy and things do come up from time to time. As a courtesy to your practitioner and other clients waiting for an appointment, we ask that you please give a minimum of 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellations and changes. Less than 24hours notice will unfortunately result in a late notice fee being charged. If you do need to cancel your appointment time we will encourage you to rebook a time so that your treatment plan is able to continue to help you reach your goals.

If you have had any recent tests or xrays, it would be helpful to bring a copy of the results with you for your practitioner. For infants and children, please bring with you the child’s maternal and child health record book as well as anything that might provide comfort to your child throughout the treatment such as a favourite toy or blanket or perhaps their dummy.

Your consultation will include examination of specific areas of the body. It is advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing. Depending on the nature of your condition, you may be asked to dis-robe to underwear in order for your practitioner to better assess your condition. If you prefer to be treated fully clothed, we are able to accommodate for this.

Absolutely! Providing you have an appropriate referral and paperwork from your doctor we accept Medicare patients. Please be aware that you will be required to pay for your appointment in full. You will require a linked account with Medicare. We can claim back on the spot for the funds to be returned to your account. Please note Medicare does not cover our full consultation fee, so you will incur a gap.

No, anyone can see an Osteopath or massage therapist without a referral. If you wish to claim through WorkSafe, TAC or Department of Veterans affairs you will need a referral, and prior approval, before coming for an appointment. All clients, except DVA will need to pay in full for their consultation at the time of their appointment, then claim back from their 3rd party payer.

In order to get the most out of your treatment time, we recommend you arrive 5 minutes early. As we often have appointments booked back to back, unfortunately if you are late, you will only be able to have your treatment for the remaining allocated treatment time.
